Regular!Verse Danzas Bain (formerly Tanza) -

Danzas grew up on Trill with his parents and sister Enell and Kimta Tanza (later Enell Tola). He got a job as a junior assistant within the government before, at the age of 18, he was posted as a trainee amassador at the Trill Embassy on Betazed. He lived and worked on Betazed, where he met and became friends with Kel Andrus, before, at the age of 20, he applied for and was accepted on the Trill Initiate Program. He returned to Trill when he was 23 for the training and was eventually Joined with the Bain Symbiont at 26.
He returned to his job at the Embassy and quickly became a Junior Ambassador and has worked there ever since. Recently he has been most concerned with the post war aid of the region and FCC coordination.

Mirror!Verse Danzas Bain -

In the Mirror!Verse Bain, as he is generally known, grew up as a slave on Trill with the rest of his family. When he was a teenager he was placed in a forced labour camp and various mines before being moved to Terok Nor. He was on Terok Nor when the rebels took control, in which he had a small part.
Not many people trust him. Although he is loyal to the resistance and strongly believes in what it stands for, he is also often very selfish due to his past, which some people find unnerving.
He is a rogue and a scandrel in the best sense, and though people may not trust him he has lots of connections and is always well situated. The only feature some find redeeming about the man is that he is a Symbiont *smuggler*. He is one of the few Trills who have the ability and know how to locate Symbionts when their Hosts die and have them Joined to other Trills. He never asks anything for this. He himself was Joined a decade earlier to a Symbiont when he happened to be in the right place at the right time, as often is the way. The Bain Symbiont already has lived 8 lives and so as far as Trills are concerned it is a honoured elder. As such Danzas sees it as his duty to protect all Symbionts and will never willingly let one die no matter what the cost. His fond hope is that one day his homeworld can be liberated and the Symbionts freed from the Alliance's strict control.



The Bain Symbiont - previous lives starting with the most recent.

Danzas Bain.

Clippa Bain. Female. After being Joined she worked for the Symbiosis Commission as a mentor and later held a seat on the Board as a Commissioner. Died aged 121 leaving 2 children.

Grax Bain - Male. Worked through Starfleet Medical and became CMO on the USS Perozi. Retired to a small corner of the quadrant with his wife and nurse from the Perozi.

Yedrin Bain - Male. Worked through Starfleet to the rank of Commander but was killed in action along with his wife who was the ship engineer.

Rosa Bain - Female. School teacher of the history and geography of Trill and its surrounding worlds. Died aged 97.

Dezon Bain - Male. Worked for the Ministry of Transport on Trill all his life. Died aged 104 leaving his wife and 6 children.

Zuba Bain - Male. Zuba was an athlete of great renown, mainly in track competitions. He died in a shuttle accident aged 37.

Lorri Bain - Female. Worked as a writer of political commentaries and later went on to win awards for her Political Biographies. Died aged 84 leaving a husband and 2 children.

Liom Bain - Male. worked as a medical scientist for the Trill government in genetics and specialising in Symbiosis.


In the Mirror!Verse the Hosts were the same but they were all slaves, except the earlier ones who were part of the Terran Empire (I'm not totally sure on the timeline... so here are just a few different points of interest.

Liom did pretty much the same job but for the Empire, and probably with a nasty twist to it. But this is where Bain gets the knowledge from to be able to transfer Symbionts.

So at least the last one or two before Danzas would also have been slaves. All the Hosts since the Alliance enslaved Trill have done the same thing Danzas has with transferal of Symbionts, etc.
